POSTSHEET 1.1:
i woke up with the sun
DOES THIS SCROLL???coffee - the one and only ally of the overworked and very tired ryan clarke. it had been a long few days, doing stock stuff and finishing up taxes for the club, as well as four straight days before that in new york city working on his building company's new project. despite not being lead architect he did like that he had a decent amount of say in the building, though he figured that had a lot to do with his father's money that was propping up the business for now, though that would end when they got this project finished and started building. then the paychecks would come. despite those four days in the big city he'd managed to avoid running into his younger sister, who'd gone 'home' as she called it, to go back to what she did best - being a bitch at people because of how they dressed and looked. this fact of missing her didn't cross his mind though until he stepped into starbucks that afternoon, deciding coffee rather than alcohol was going to be his best option since he had a drive ahead of him - he'd told rachel he'd join her in montauk where she was staying for a friend's wedding, and saw the miniature brunette clarke across the room. despite being twins he could always tell rebecca and eva apart by one thing - the way they say and moved. rebecca did everything with purpose, and a certain level of aggression too, while eva was as carefree as a 5-year-old (with sometimes the mental capacity of one too). this was definitely rebecca, crouched low only looking up to lightly shake her head at a bunch of noisy teenage girls nearby, and ryan left the long line and inched up behind her, glancing over her shoulder at the ipad she held in her hand. fashion. but of course. wasn't it always?
as if she could feel his breath on her neck she turned, trademark scowl etched to her face, and snapped at him. ryan chuckled. "sure, why not? i need about 40 extra hours in the week, for sienna foxx to leave me the fuck alone, and…" he noticed her latte and picked it up quickly before she could stop him, taking a mouthful. he made a face. "what the fuck is this?" he put it down with a frown and shook his head. "now i need a coffee even more desperately." he took a seat without being invited, because if he waited for an invite then he was going to be waiting a long time, and motioned to her ipad. "have fun in new york?" he continued before his question could be disguised as anything other than the mocking it truly was. "because if yes, then, why aren't you still there?" he grinned lightly. "the ex-mr. rebecca clarke still hanging around, trying to win you back? or whatever lie it is you tell yourself?"
